Idonix will be showing their Ignition graphics automation system running Ignition Social, with data from Twitter and sentiment analysis from Microsoft Azure, all visualised using Ross XPression.
With interesting US mid-term elections coming this year Ross will be showing their XPression Tessera multi display real time graphics designer/controller for studio video walls. From a touch screen based US map it will be possible to drill down to specific states and display social media sentiment analysis for individual candidates powered by Ignition Social.
Ignition Social is a new development: in addition to selecting and airing individual social media posts using powerful querying and moderation tools, you can also include sentiment visualisation across easily defined topics. Integrating with Microsoft Azure's text analytics platform, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish are supported, with many other languages in preview.
Idonix are excited to announce the release of Ignition Post for Adobe® After Effects® CC, a key component of Adobe Creative Cloud®.
Ignition Post is a file based graphics service designed to help content providers improve workflow by reducing time and user input whilst increasing productivity and accuracy. Already in use with major UK broadcasters, Idonix used open APIs from Adobe to create a fully functioning system for After Effects CC.
Leveraging their expertise from many years of graphics services in elections and sport, Idonix created Ignition Post to create post-rendered, data-driven graphics delivered accurately and efficiently to editing and social media workflows. Unlike other systems in the market, there is no requirement for producers and content creators to open After Effects CC to create, order and deliver graphics. Everything can be done from desktop, tablet or phone via a responsive web interface.
Automated triggers can create graphics as live data events unfold allowing renders to be automatically delivered whilst events are still in progress. Existing users have seen significant benefits in reduced graphic-creation time and improved accuracy with some creating and delivering over 3000 graphics per month.
Idonix is now a certified Sixty development partner. This means that Idonix customers can seamlessly integrate Sixty’s Ease Live solution, which is kick starting the next generation of interactivity through ‘viewer-clickable’ on-screen graphics.
As well as delivering traditional HD-SDI graphics, Sixty’s Ease Live solution means Idonix can now simultaneously offer customers interactive HTML5 rendered graphics directly in the browser or on device, all driven from the same data set and UI.
At NAB they will show an election demo that highlights how broadcasters can reach new markets and offer viewers a new service that they can interact with providing opportunities for monetisation and further engagement.
